 EECA – Expert Equipment Certified Appraiser

With Bill’s extensive experience conducting machinery and equipment appraisals since May 2006, Bill qualified and was awarded the professional credential of Expert Equipment Certified Appraiser through the Institute of Equipment Valuation.         

 MCMEA-Master Certified Machinery & Equipment Appraiser

Bill has been awarded the CMEA designation as well as the master level certification of MCMEA by the NEBB Institute and is a licensed member in good standing with NEBB Institute. He brings over 10 years of appraisal experience to each assignment. MCMEAs and CMEAs are located throughout the United States and several foreign countries, and provide needed financial information to banks, CPAs, attorneys, business owners and others.

 CSBA- Certified Senior Business Analyst

Bill has achieved the CSBA designation from the International Society of Business Appraisers after stringent and comprehensive training and testing in the areas of small business valuation and analysis. As a CSBA he has shown competence and expertise in many areas including business valuation, business transfers, succession planning, consulting and business turnarounds.

BCA- Business Certified Appraiser Candidate

Bill is a Level II candidate for the additional BCA designation from the International Society of Business Appraisers having completed both Level I and Level II training and testing and is in the process of submitting a sample valuation for peer review.

Expert Witness-Business Valuation/Equipment Appraisal

Bill has provided litigation support and expert witness testimony in the area of business valuation as well as equipment appraisal for several law firms in the state of Arkansas.

MBA- Master of Business Administration

Bill received his MBA from the University of Arkansas with an emphasis in finance, accounting and marketing.

CBI- Certified Business Intermediary

Bill was awarded the CBI designation after completing an extensive educational curriculum including valuation, marketing, strategic/exit planning and analysis, and demonstrating superior knowledge and experience in the business brokerage profession. The CBI, awarded by the International Business Brokers Association, requires completion of more that 60 classroom hours, passing a comprehensive examination and periodic recertification with additional classroom instruction.

CEB- Certified Equipment Broker

Bill received the designation of CEB from the NEBB Institute after completion of comprehensive training and testing in the area of equipment sales and marketing.

PE- Registered Professional Engineer

Bill received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Christian Brothers University and has been a registered professional engineer since 1982. He has passed two comprehensive examinations and demonstrated extensive experience in the field of engineering in the state of Arkansas.

LREB- Licensed Real Estate Broker

Bill is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Arkansas and principal broker in SBB Real Estate.

He owns an appraisal firm, a business brokerage firm, and a consulting engineering firm and has been the general manager of a Fortune 500 chemical operation. Bill has completed multiple appraisal assignments for financial institutions, federal government departments and corporations as well as providing litigation support and expert witness testimony in business valuation /equipment appraisal disputes. Bill was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force with the rank of Captain after completing numerous worldwide assignments on the flight crew of a C-130 aircraft.
