Hello,
My name is Roxanne Reid and I’m a seasoned professional (40 years) with a broad background in valuation, appraisal, management, finance, sales, and marketing.
As the Founding owner of Capital Valuations by The Reid Group (Capital Valuations), I offer business valuations for buy/sell opportunities and for companies looking to scale their business to the next level.
Having worked many years in the financial services industry for Canada’s largest international bank, in several senior roles including small business/commercial lending and as a Chief Compliance Officer, I know what is needed to see a deal close.
Quite frankly, banks love my valuation reports because they are of are the highest standards.
My post retirement career started as a desire to help local small business owners has now expanded to serving clients across North America and around the world.
Acadie Business Capital Inc., my capital financing company supports business acquisitions, start-ups and growing companies in sourcing both domestic and international financing.
Serving both small scale projects under $100 million and large scale projects $100 million to $5 billion++.
Buying/selling businesses isn’t for the faint of heart. It’s time consuming, detailed work that as an industry sees more than 50% of the deals fall apart on the day of closing in the lawyer’s office. I didn’t want to see my clients put in that position and certainly didn’t want to see my commission blow up at the 11th hour. This was my motivation to obtain the Mastery of Negotiations Certification (HBS) in 2020.
